Introducing our Samsung Watch app version 2.0 and a host of helpful improvements

Have a Samsung Watch? Then say hello to komoot 2.0, featuring a ton of new features and improvements to make your time outdoors even easier:

  • See your route as you navigate/record: Whereas you could previously only see the navigation instructions while tracking a Tour, now you can see your route and your exact position on it. This lets you better understand when a turn is coming up and what to expect around the next bend. You can also zoom in or out to get a better view.
  • Access richer Tour details: So you’re even better informed, you can also access your Tour’s details before you start and when you’re on the go. Just tap or swipe to see way and surface-type breakdowns and your Tour’s elevation profile, as well as duration estimates, average and current speeds, and elapsed time.
  • Keep an eye on your watch’s battery level: To make sure you don’t run out of juice, we’ve also implemented a handy battery level indicator that can be accessed simply by tapping on the bottom bar when recording/navigating a Tour.
