New: Report spam profiles at the tap of a button

In order to give you an even safer experience on komoot, we’ve added the option to report other users and spam profiles at the click of a button. To do so, just open the profile of the person you want to report on the web or in the komoot mobile apps and select ‘block or report’. We'll investigate all reports logged by komoot users and take necessary action depending on the account. This includes account deletion.

You can now see other users’ personal Collections in your feed

As we believe you follow people on komoot for a reason, we thought it would make sense to start showing you the personal Collections of people you follow in your feed. So we did: The next time you visit your news feed in the komoot apps or on komoot.com, you’ll see the best personal Collections from your community — perfect for starting the next big conversation or for finding even more inspiration for your own adventure.

No longer see routes buried under a sea of waypoints when planning on Android, iOS and at komoot.com

So you can better see where your route goes, we’ve implemented a small design change which prevents your route from being drowned under a sea of waypoint markers when planning on Android, iOS and at komoot.com. With this new design, waypoints markers take up less space on the map, allowing you to better see the route underneath them. But don’t worry; they’re still instantly noticeable when you want to find them again: Just zoom in on your route to see them pop up on the map.

Planning longer Tours just got much faster

Planning a long hike or an extended bikepacking trip? Well, we’ve got good news: We’ve increased the reaction time of the planner by a factor of 15, meaning on-screen loading times are drastically reduced when adding multiple waypoints/editing longer Tours. To try it out, head to the route planner at komoot.com or in our Android and iOS app now — and plan your next big adventure faster than ever before.
